About the Navier 30

Navier's N30 is a production electric hydrofoil built around a 30-foot carbon hull and three actively controlled foils. Aviation-grade sensors feed the flight-control software, which adjusts foil flaps up to 50 times per second to stabilize pitch, roll and ride height. The foils retract into several positions: stowed for storage, shallow for docking, intermediate for calm water and fully extended for rougher foiling. Independent twin motors and powertrains add redundancy and enable joystick docking. The current Pioneer II refines the first customer-delivered generation with updates informed by operating data. It is a technologically complex premium boat rather than a simple electric runabout: owners depend on software, high-voltage systems and specialist support as well as ordinary hull maintenance. Navier offers several interior themes and options, including a climate-controlled cabin, fishing configuration and upgraded 114 kWh battery.

Performance in Context

Navier lists 70 nautical miles at a 20-knot cruise, a 30-knot electronically limited maximum and takeoff around 16 knots. Range changes with battery, payload, water and operating profile. The boat can carry up to nine people, but heavier loading can change takeoff speed and efficiency. Foiling draft reaches about 6 feet; shallow mode is 1.5 feet.

The N30 offers 86 or 114 kWh on the product page, while the configurator shows 84 or 114 kWh; buyers should confirm the contract specification. Navier states roughly eight hours on 220 V/50 A shore power and approximately 45 minutes on compatible DC fast charging. Availability and Pricing

Sales are open for the N30 Pioneer II by invitation. Navier's configurator lists a US$850,000 starting price, replacing the old US$375,000 figure. Extended-range battery, electronics, comfort options, trailer, finish, delivery and tax increase the total.
